Tumblr Stuff 4: Insomia

I suffer from insomnia, and on some nights it’s pretty bad.
Last night, all I could think about was an accident I was in this year where my lower arm was cut. All I could think about was seeing my own flesh ripping open, seeing layers of fat and muscle, and how I screamed when the blood hit the floor. The crazy thing is, after you get a large cut on yourself, you can’t really feel it after a while, it’s like my body wanted to choose not to feel it. Last night, that’s all I could think about, I was lying in bed for hours and hours, just trying to fall asleep. Around daybreak I curled in a ball and just told myself,”Please think of happy thoughts.”And it worked.
